Acclaimed Iran film ‘Helmsman’ unravels trailer

Much-appreciated Iran film ‘Helmsman’ by Majid Esmaeili-Parsa has unraveled a new trailer prior to next round of theatrical release in Iran.

The film’s new teaser surfaced online on Friday in advance of its release for the second round at Iran Art & Experience Cinematic group.

The film’s first cycle of screenings was initiated in September.

The 85-minute movie is about Hassan, a boy who is trying to revive his father’s ship as a present for the man’s birthday.

Mehdi Mohajeri, Majid Deris, Yousef Khodaparast, Yousef Bakhtiari and Hamideh Moghadaszadeh star in the movie.

The movie has attended more than 20 domestic and international film festivals.
